This is a very very rare antique mans cotton haori kimono jacket. This must have been the very best haori owned by its owner and it has seen relatively little wear but it is an antique.Unlike most peasant garment this has a black silk or rayon collar - an elegance i have never seen in peasant clothing this is likely early to mid 1900s. Antique, but quite good condition for its age. This is a very nicely handmade jacket - similar to japanese peasant noragi wear - the detailed bindings are really so well made-probably at home - with the lining fabric in black and indigo being plant dyes. Please check the measurements below:pit-to-pit - 23 measured across the back; hip approx the samelength - approx.
32.7"wingspan - 50.4"remember that these are not new (they would cost in the many thousands of dollars if they were) and may have small stains or age spots i have missed or not mentioned. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
