Vintage, us navy a-1 extreme cold weather jacket and liner. Features include: a removable liner (which doubles as an emergency buoyancy aid), large secure hand warmer pockets and heavy-duty conmar zip fastening. We can date this jacket to 1968. Men's medium, as original label.
Measures around a 38 chest. The original label reads medium 38/40. This jacket has a boxy fit. Please see below for specific measurements.
Wear - well-worn, vintage condition. The rib knit cuff trim is heavily damaged, as are the tabs at the waist. There is also some light wear and tear on the cuffs/sleeves but the main shell of the jacket is in good shape overall. Note: the jacket label is partially unstitched.Marks or stains - there is substantial staining on the collar and zip cover. The underside of the zip cover is also significantly discoloured. In addition the right cuff is marked and there is a faint scuff on the upper back. Please see images for details. Fastenings- conmar zip, poppers, button and buckles.
The waist tabs are damaged but all other fastenings are present and working. There is some slight damage at the bottom of the zip and some of the poppers are worn but they still work.
