As much as i love this i haven't worn that much and it does deserve to be seen. It is simply one of the most amazing caped jackets i have ever come across. Hopefully you get the idea from the pix. I find it so interesting that the linings in edwardian pieces are so colorful. This one has a very leopard like look. I did pin it under when wearing as way too small for me and not at all necessary. There are pockets on the parts that hang down in the front. The collar is quite large; almost like a hood.
It is really just too amazing. I have many more pix if you want to see more. It is in very good vintage condition for it's age; a little wear on the belt in a couple of places and the silk on the inside lining below the collor is starting to shred in two small places and there is a place at hem where lining needs to be retacked down. This must have been a very high end piece in its day and the tailoring is exquisite.Label reads "oppenheimcollins &co" which was a high end new york department store founded in 1905. Will fit many sizes and can see on man or woman.
