Vintage WWII 1946 Navy souvenir embroidered wool jacket from Shanghai, China
This is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind, historical collectible. It's a world war ii-era woolen jacket, previously owned by a gentleman named don nelson, whose name is embroidered in orange above the left breast pocket. There are two dragons embroidered beneath the two breast pockets. Embroidered on the back are an orange, green and pink dragon, and the words shanghai china 1946. This jacket could not be in better condition. All the buttons are intact, including those on the pockets, the cuffs and the waist. There are no holes, moth damage, tears or stains.
The embroidery is bright with no snags. The jacket measures 36 inches in the chest.
The sleeves are 26.5 inches long; the measurement from shoulder to waistband is 20 inches.
