This angarkha was usually worn in the western part of india, with a very big flair and pleating it stood out more than the traditional ones.Usually worn with the kathiawadi's embroidered fabric and a short length. Angarkha:- angarkha is an outer robe with long sleeves which was worn by men in india. It had evolved from the persian cape balaba or chapkan as a result f being given a more indian form in the late medieval or early modern era. The front overlaps and the entire garment is wrapped around the body and tied with strings given on the garment. Note:- these angarkha are a very rare find and a diamond in the collection of art lovers. Similar garments are seen is jodhpur miniature paintings area 1720. There might have a 10% color discrepancy from the image however the same will not dampen the life of the product.
