This kimono style is called "haori". It's not require special technique to wear, it's very easy to wear it. Originally worn over kimono, nowadays worn as jackets over everyday wear. The simple cut and neutral design make it easy to match with any outfit. It can be dressed up or dressed down. The outer fabric is of course lovely, but tea ceremony utensils lining is also very nice. It is not originally reversible, but i would love to wear it as reversible.

The kettle used for the tea ceremony is used as the design. The name (nagoshijtoumi) is the name of a famous artist who was known in history as the best tea kettle maker in japan. The owner of this haori must have had a great knowledge of the tea ceremony. The size is very adjustable, can be fits any body type. Short, tall, man or woman.

Ideal for men's sm, l women's 3646. It will be just as fantastic hanging on your wall.

Beautiful tea ceremony utensils(tea kettle)motif lining. Length (collar to hem) 100cm. Width (shoulder to shoulder) 64cm. Sleeve (shoulder to wrist) 33.5cm they are designed to be 3/4 length sleeves.

I'll tell you trucking number. Please make sure about your address. Sometimes these items may have a slight musty smell due to the way traditional japanese kimono wear is stored, however if you air the item (but only in the shade) the smell will soon disappear. The kimonos are vintage items and not "as new".

I try to point out stains and flaws in the item description. Please be careful in maintaining it.

If your kimono is for wearing and you want to wash it, please consult a trusted dry cleaner and your own good judgement. In the older kimonos, colours are likely to leak when washed. We do not take responsibility for damages occurred when washing. As for kimonos for decoration, be careful to expose the kimono to strong direct sunlight as it fades and becomes even more fragile.
