Vintage 1940s 40s French brown Canadienne barnstormer mackinaw jacket coat sheepskin cotton canvas mouton collar 43 chest

A french brown cotton canvas canadienne coat, dating from the 1940s. Noted flaws - missing the original belt, small split in the mouton collar at the inside front left, some areas of colour fading throughout, particularly at the lower left hand pocket and front shoulder areas, two hand repairs at the lower left pocket, missing the four left side buttons - please see photos. Lined in the body in sheepskin, lining is in good supple condition with no shedding, soft, rich brown real mouton collar with no shedding, two hand pockets, two lower pockets, pockets are edged in leather and pocket bags are intact, great style, classic french jacket, excellent quality. Pit to pit (taken outside, allowing for the thick lining) - 21.5 (43 doubled).
